65th Anniversary Middle Years Scholarship 2027
For 65 years, Pittwater House has been a place where young people are known, challenged and encouraged to make their own contribution.
To celebrate our 65th Anniversary, we are offering a special Middle Years Scholarship for students entering Years 4–8 in 2027.
Open to both current Pittwater House students and students wishing to join our school, the scholarship recognises young people with the character, strengths and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the Pittwater House community.
We are looking for more than achievement.
Every student has something different to contribute
We are interested in students who demonstrate positive personal qualities and individual strengths, who are engaged in their school or wider community, and who are willing to embrace new opportunities.
Through their application, students will have the opportunity to tell us about who they are, what matters to them, the experiences that have shaped them and how they believe they could contribute positively to life at Pittwater House.
We also want to understand their aspirations and how a Pittwater House education could support their learning and personal growth.
Who can apply?
The 65th Anniversary Middle Years Scholarship is available for entry into Years 4–8 in 2027.
Applications are welcomed from:
- current Pittwater House students; and
- students currently attending other schools who are interested in joining Pittwater House in 2027.
The application
Students are asked to submit a handwritten letter to the Principal of no more than 500 words, introducing themselves and sharing why they would like to attend Pittwater House, what is important to them, what they would contribute to the School and their aspirations for the future.
The application also requires supporting information including recent school reports, NAPLAN results where applicable, a recent piece of the student's literacy work, evidence of relevant achievements and activities, and a supporting reference.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in an interview from Tuesday 6 October.
