We emphasise traditional subjects while offering an engaging variety of electives.
Year 7 subjects
All students in Year 7 2025 study the compulsory core subjects:

- French and Mandarin (one semester each language)

Year 8 subjects
All students in Year 8 2025 study the compulsory core subjects:

- Visual Arts
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE).
Students can also choose one language elective from:
- French
- Mandarin.
Year 9 subjects
Students in Year 9 2025 study the compulsory core subjects:

- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
- Science.
Year 9 students can choose three elective subjects from the following list:

External Language Study Options
Students who have a background/prior learning in a language other than French or Chinese, may elect to study their background language in Stage 5 through an external language provider, such as The NSW School of Languages or the Saturday School of Community Languages.
Year 10 subjects

All senior students have free access to our Senior Study Centre which runs from 3:30 – 6:30pm Monday to Thursday. Each day, two teachers representing two different faculties are on duty to assist the students with questions and support. Timetables of support on offer are distributed to Year 11 and 12 parents and students each week.

High potential students: Challenging bright minds to think bigger
We nurture gifted and high-potential learners through targeted extension, enrichment and acceleration.
Our approach is built on challenge and opportunity – giving advanced learners the tools to explore ideas deeply, solve problems creatively, and reach their full potential.
Opportunities include:
- Subject acceleration in Mathematics and Dance
- High potential classes for English and Science
- Enrichment via clubs and programs in Philosophy, Chess, Coding, French and Mandarin, Engineering Workshop and Code Camp.
- Participation in academic competitions including Da Vinci Decathlon, Future Problem Solving and G.A.T.E.WAYS.

Supported learners: Support that’s structured, personal and practical
Every student deserves the chance to succeed – and we’re here to help them get there.
For students who need additional assistance, we provide a compassionate and tailored approach that keeps expectations high while ensuring the path is achievable.
- In-class support and team teaching
- Small group intervention sessions
- Study skills coaching personalised to each learner’s needs
- Strong collaboration with families to monitor progress and set goals.
Homework club
Homework Club is available for students from Years 7 – 10 three afternoons per week (3:30pm–5:00pm) during term time – offering a quiet, structured space to revise, complete assignments and build confidence.
