Building community and having fun along the way

The Pittwater House Parents’ Association (PHPA) is a volunteer-led group dedicated to building a strong, inclusive and supportive parent community.

We focus on creating meaningful opportunities for parents and caregivers to come together, support one another, and celebrate all that makes our school so special.

Whether you’re new to the school or have been here for years, there’s a place for you in the PHPA.

What we do

Throughout the year, the PHPA organises a range of community-building events and initiatives – from Welcome Drinks to our Trivia Night and key celebrations such as the Mother’s Day Lunch and the Father’s Day Drinks.

We also run the Second-Hand Uniform Shop, which helps families connect while making school life more sustainable.

Our committee includes parents and guardians from across all year levels – and everything we do is aimed at creating a sense of belonging and connection for every family.

How we connect

Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Held at the start of each school year to reflect, plan and welcome new faces

Termly Community Meetings – Open to all families, these meetings are a great way to stay informed and involved

Network Parents – Each class has a volunteer parent who helps foster connections within the year group and acts as a friendly point of contact for other families.

Be a part of it!

Getting involved is easy and flexible — and there’s no pressure.

You might:

  • Volunteer in the Second Hand Uniform Shop
  • Attend a PHPA meeting
  • Become a Network Parent for your class
  • Lend a hand at one of our events — or simply come along and be part of the fun

Every connection we make helps strengthen our community.
