On the evening of Friday 28 November, the Pittwater House community came together to celebrate and farewell our much-loved Principal and CEO, Dr Nancy Hillier, who retires after 15 years of outstanding service.

The cocktail party – held in honour of Dr Hillier’s remarkable contribution to the school – was attended by staff, Board members, alumni, and friends. The evening featured heartfelt speeches, shared memories, and many warm toasts acknowledging the impact Dr Hillier has had across every corner of our campus.

“I am so happy to have had the opportunity to see these wonderful friends and share in amazing memories of 15 years,” she said.

Throughout her tenure, Dr Hillier led with vision, compassion and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her leadership has helped shape the school into a place known for its academic rigour, holistic development, and strong community values.

Very soon, Dr Hillier’s portrait will be hung with pride in our Great Hall, recognising her legacy as our third Principal and CEO, and as a tribute to the leadership and care she has brought to the school over the past decade and a half.

Reflecting on her time at Pittwater House, Dr Hillier shared, “It has been such a privilege to be part of this community and to be trusted with the education of your young people… Pittwater House is a special place. There is a real sense of community and belonging.”

Dr Hillier now returns to her hometown of Melbourne, where she looks forward to time with friends, golf, tennis, and supporting her beloved Demons at the MCG.

We extend our deepest thanks to Dr Hillier for her years of service and leadership, and wish her all the best for a happy and fulfilling retirement.
