The start of a new school year at Pittwater House marked the beginning of a significant new chapter for staff.
In his first professional learning day as Principal, Dr Middleton set a clear tone: unity, belonging, and a shared sense of purpose. His message was simple – when we come together, the impact is far greater than any individual part.
That spirit came to life through music, as Phil Burton OAM (from band Human Nature) led staff in a powerful rendition of “Stand By Me” – a reminder of the strength in standing together.
Staff also heard from speaker Mark Bunn, whose valuable insights into self-care through Ayurvedic principles offered practical tools to support our own wellbeing – essential in the work we do.
And as we recognised long-serving staff who have shaped this school over many years, it was clear: we’re building on strong foundations.
It was a meaningful start to what promises to be a transformative year.
