Gymnastics Success

On Sunday the 12 August Amy Smit was announced as the 2011 Woman's Gymnasts Senior Athlete of the Year. 

Amy was the 2011 Level 10 State Champion and went on to win a gold and silver at the Australian Championships in Perth, in addition to some impressive international results.

CSSA Primary & Secondary State Gymnastics 2012

During August four talented Pittwater House students attended the CSSA State Gymnastics Championships at Five Dock. They had a very successful day receiving medals in a variety of events:

  1. Amy Smit - Level 10 - Winning a gold medal for overall champion after successfully winning all 6 different apparatuses
  2. Riley Cross - Level 9 - Winning a gold medal for overall champion after successfully winning all 6 different apparatuses
  3. Olivia Massi - Level 5 - Winner a silver medal for coming second overall after winning a  1st / 2nd / 3rd and 4th in 6 different apparatuses
  4. Sebastian Massi - Level 1 - Winning a gold medal for overall champion after successfully winning all 6 different apparatuses

The 4 students overall won 4 medals and 22 certificates, great effort
